statement
Anita Hrnic examines public involvement as it relates to the image, as well as public need for entertainment as a prominent characteristic of current zeitgeist. The audience in their participation is usually an integral part of the work. The work itself is ambiguous in it's willingness to please the audience and at the same time deploy and subtly subvert their participation.Furthermore, the contemplative research into contemporary subjects makes for a considerable aspect of the work process. This includes subjects such as popculture, market value, and use of aesthetics within the ironic zeitgeist.
